Text and Images

In any design programming tool, you are bound to encounter conflicts between various objects. In this case, text and images. We have already seen how text aligns itself with the bottom of an image. However, there is a way to counter this behaviour -
<img src="hulk.gif" align="left" />A block of text<br>covering many<br>lines.
Makes this -
A block of text
covering many
lines.
By adding the align attribute, the image is forced to the left of the text, and the text flows around it.
You may also do this with the image to the right -
<img src="hulk.gif" align="right">A block of text<br>covering many<br>lines.
Makes this -
A block of text
covering many
lines.
The align attribute can be used with many other tags, but we will cover those when the time comes.
